# How can I connect my smartphone to my car?

### CarPlay:

You have two methods to connect your iPhone to CarPlay.

**Method 1: Connection via USB:**
* Start your car.
* Plug your iPhone into the USB port of your vehicle (the one often marked with a CarPlay or smartphone icon).
* Your car screen should automatically display the CarPlay menu.

**Method 2: Wireless connection:**
* Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
* On your car screen, go to the connection or settings menu.
* Press and hold the voice command button on the steering wheel.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > CarPlay and select your vehicle from the list to establish the connection.

### Android Auto:

Just like CarPlay, there are two ways to connect your phone, depending on your vehicle:

**Method 1: Connection via USB:**
* Start your car.
* Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
* Plug your Android phone into your vehicle's USB port using a good quality cable.
* Your car screen should display a notification inviting you to start Android Auto. Follow the instructions displayed on the car screen and your phone.

**Method 2: Wireless connection:**
* Make sure your car is compatible with the wireless Android Auto connection.
* Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.
* On the car screen, follow the pairing steps to connect your phone via Bluetooth.
* Android Auto should launch automatically once the connection is established.
