# I am new, what does this app look like?

1. **Discover majelanX:**
majelanX is an audio content platform based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) aiming to simplify the creation, orchestration, and distribution of intelligent audio content. Faced with information overload and a lack of time, our platform allows users to listen to what they do not have time to read (while commuting, driving, or exercising). 
This new mX Automotive app is dedicated to you and is constantly improving. New features will be released in the coming days / weeks. Please check for updates regularly to enjoy the full experience! \*You also have the option to request new features.

2. **How to access the app:**

On the login page, click **"Continue as guest".**

**3.1  My mX:**
This tab corresponds to the user's personalized home screen. It is designed to offer an immediate and tailor-made listening experience. Here are its key elements:
* **The main concept:** The header clearly indicates that it is a "**A selection of content tailored to your listening habits**" It is therefore a 100% personalized feed.
* **The global action button:** A large central button "**Launch mX**" allows you to start continuous playback of this custom selection, without having to choose tracks one by one.
* **The audio news feed:** Below, the user finds the detailed list of recommendations. Each piece of content (which appears to be short formats) features a thumbnail, a clear title, the name of the source media (BBC, Daily mail, Sky news...) and an individual "**Play**" button to launch a specific track.
Format availability depends on the channels and the content offered. Some channels broadcast only the long version, others only the short version, while some offer a choice between both formats (short and long versions).

**Important information**: An interactive playback bar will appear at the bottom of the app to make navigation easier for you, simply swipe from left to right to switch from one media to another without interrupting your listening experience.

**How can I view episode details before listening?**
Tapping on a content item opens a detailed information sheet featuring the cover artwork, title, and a comprehensive summary of the topics covered. You can start listening directly from this sheet or rate the content using the feedback buttons (Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down).

**What features are available on the audio player?**
Once playback starts, the full player allows you to:
* Navigate through the audio using the quick skip buttons (+15s / -15s) and the progress bar. 
* Select your preferred format using the Long version option. 
* Adjust the playback speed to your preference (e.g., x1, x1.25, x1.5). 
* View the publication date and author credits for the content.

**3.2 Channels:**
This tab serves as an exploration catalog. Unlike the previous tab based on the algorithm, this one allows you to actively navigate by content source (different media, brands, or creators). Here are its key elements:
* **The editorialized "Featured" :** A central section with wider cards, designed to highlight or promote specific channels. This is an excellent space for partnerships or strong recommendations.
* **The "Local Channels":** A carousel dedicated to recent additions on the platform (BBC, Daily Mail etc.), designed to encourage the user to broaden their listening horizons and subscribe to new feeds.

If we take the example of the L’Express channel, here is what it looks like:
* **The personalized header:** The upper part reflects the visual identity of the media. It includes a channel icon as well as its description.
* **The continuous listening button:** The large central button "**Start the mX**" allows you to start an automatic playlist containing only the audio content from this publisher. You can click on the small star next to the channel name to add it to your "**favorite channels**".
* **The recent content feed:** Below, you will find the chronological list of tracks published by the channel. Metadata is very comprehensive for each card: thumbnail, article/podcast title, duration, publication date, author or journalist's name. Each track has its own individual "**Play**" button.

**3.3 Search**:
This tab is the application's active exploration engine. Unlike other tabs that push content, this one allows the user to take control to find specific information or browse by theme. Example:
* Disasters and accidents
* Education
* Health
* Social ..
The themes you selected during your first steps on the app are easily identifiable by a small yellow icon next to their name. By clicking on a specific theme, you will access a dedicated page grouping all associated content and media across different channels.

**3.4 Profile:**
In this tab, you will find your first name appearing in the middle as well as data related to your membership (subscription duration). Here are the sections this tab contains:
1. **My interests**: This section is reserved for registered users.
2. **My favorite channels:** Similarly, this tab is reserved for registered users. It gathers all the channels you have selected or liked, allowing you to easily access them at any time.
3. **Help Center**: Our help center is designed to answer the majority of your questions through frequently searched solutions and information.
4. **Contact us**: Are you encountering a problem and cannot find an answer in our frequently asked questions? We are here to listen and promise to help you as quickly as possible. 5. **Settings:**
* **Selected language** : Select your preferred language (french, english, spanish, dutch, german or italian).
* **Privacy Policy**: An essential legal document intended to inform the user in a clear and transparent manner about how majelanX collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects their personal information and usage data while ensuring legal compliance (GDPR).
* **General Terms**: Our General Terms of Use (GTU) aim to define the terms and conditions for access and use of the majelanX mobile app.
* **Leave guest mode**: You can voluntarily click this button at any time.
